Intelligent Systems Research Seminar Series (4/2012)

Good Morning to all, who are reading my post.
The day started with a stress and ended in a very fine note.

I had my seminar presentation yesterday at 11-12 afternoon, Meeting Hall, School of Information Technology, Monash University. I was preparing my presentation slides till 10.58am, until my friend Manju came and called me...."ai man, we are waiting in meeting hall, u didnt turn up still....lolz".....then i saved my slides and ran to the meeting hall with my laptop. It looked funny when running with laptop, holding mouse and power cables.

 atlast, when my seminar ends, my supervisor (Dr.Siew) joined and he was surprised to know that my seminar finished already. I just laughed and answered him, "Sir, you know my work, so there is no problem".lolz....:D

Monash Tutorial

Oh my god....this is my last tutorial class on this semester.Hmm...I miss you all guys. As, I have said earlier, I have asked Xunli to take foto and he helped me in doing it.

I liked this moment, taking fotos with all the students. But, I couldnt get the chance of taking foto with the tuesday batch..that worries me..so an incomplete story. I believe these students all would be there for my next semester tutoring too.

Anyways, most of the tuesday batch are there in my facebook-friends list. So, I am happy for that.

Monash Tutorial and My Conference

Research:
These days I am so freaked with my tutorials, marking assignments, doing my research and getting ready for the international conference.
This week I couldn't able to tutor Tuesday batch, because I am busy with conference registration and poster preparation. But I miss you guys..See you on next week....Anyways, I gave all the tutoring materials to Mr.Sylvester to deliver and what to be done for my students.
Today is one of the important day in my life. My research paper was published in the IEEE International Conference, Malaysia. I met researchers all around the world, guys from India, France, Canada, Algeria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh..and many more.....lots of research are going on around the world..

Tutorial:

Now, I got next bunch of students assignments to mark..oh, my god...When I am going to finish it..Mr.Yeap, asked us to wait until he receives the marking scheme....
My body doesn't suits for lot of brain works at a time..I am completely exhausted..
Then I have gone through some of my students blogs and I am very happy that almost all the students gave positive comments on tutoring, which relieves my exhaustion of hard day works...See you all on Week-11...gosh...weeks are running and we are nearing the end of the semester..I want somebody to take a group photo with all FIT2001 students including me..I saw Xunli with camera...I will ask him to do so....;)

New Computer for Research

I am so happy that I have got an other new computer from Monash University to do my research. Now, I have to start doing my experimentation.....
Today, I finished installing Ubuntu Linux and Apache Tomcat Server.......Sigh....a great relief.....now, I need to configure the server to my needs..I dunno how long it takes...God....help me in solving this issue....

Vacation in India:

I had a good time in India, with my mom, dad, bro and sis..I had real fun with their kids too...but ten days is too little....but a big work is there in Malaysia to do...I meant RESEARCH and TUTORING...

Monash Tutorial and My Short Vacation

Hurrah....I am so happy....I dunno, whether you guys are going to enjoy your mid-semester break or not...I am going to enjoy....you know....how....I AM GOING TO MY COUNTRY-INDIA...I am so happy to see my mom, dad, my sis and my bro....I am leaving Malaysia on 1st April and coming back on 11th April 2010...It is a short vacation...but believing it as a happy vacation...

Tutorial:

Today's class was narrowed to "a traditional or structured approach"....as these days, our tutorial was discussing only on gathering information, analysing, etc....future classes will be focused on approaches like event table, class diagram( can be said as ER diagram) and finally structured design, and user interfaces.

Today's tutorial was about Event Table, and understanding the class diagram...but most of the students hav took more time on Event table and focused less on class diagram...I plan to discuss about the class diagram in the next class..

One thing, I feel myself improved is, reducing the speed of delivering my speech in tutorial classes. I am so happy of students progress and I believe that, everybody will come out with flying colours, if they attend the class properly and do the assigned work....

My Birthday and Confirmation Day

Yesterday was my Birthday...each year, March month is a turning point in  my life...I got improvement or achieved a big success only in this month...I got lots of wishes from my early students, friends who where in facebook and orkut, and called through mobile too...the day went with a right note....

"I have lots of friends to love and wish me good luck"

Today, the day for my stage show...these one year work, has to be presented before the panel of members...all great guys.....lots of questions expected....

I had my presentation today @ 12.10pm. I was cool, since lots of work I did these one year and I need to present those work within 20-25 minutes...hmmm..that is cumbersome....anyways...I took 35 minutes to complete my presentation....everybody in the panel congratulated me and said, that I had did lots of work and wished me good luck for my research to complete successfully...After my presentation, I thanked Dr.Saadat and my bro.Bashar, who are the two main people behind me to get into this level....I am so thankful to them...

Around 12.55pm, the panel members called  me and congratulated me, that my research work is confirmed..
oh....a GREAT RELIEF....after long months.....

I need to relax....sure, I should watch a movie....I have lots of movies in my laptop, to be watched....
